About
Passionate about traveling since he can remember, he began his photographic journey in 2004. He started by photographing natural landscapes, not only in his home country, Portugal, but also traveling to other places like Iceland, the United States of America, or Canada.
On his first trip to Japan, he fell in love not just for the country, but also for the cultural differences between East and West, and he started introducing cities, their people, and their traditions as his photographic subjects.
Today his photographic activity is focused on traditional festivals, and traditional craftsmanship. His purpose is to document some of these traditions wherever he goes, as well as the effort of the people who struggle to keep these traditions alive.
